WESTSIDE FORUM GUIDELINES
Developed by the Social Action Committee
Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation
Rio Rancho, New Mexico
The Westside Forum is formed to carry out these Unitarian Universalist principles
in its work and programs:
Principle Two: Justice, equality and compassion in human relations
Principle Five: The right of conscience and the use of democratic process
Principle Six: The goal of world community, with peace, liberty and justice for all
The forum’s primary function is educational. We hold public meetings for the
education of people in the greater community regarding current issues and
interests. Our goal is to offer a service to the community and to build awareness
of the Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation.
The Social Action Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation
is the sole sponsor of all Westside Forum events. We may invite representatives
of other groups to participate or provide speakers or programs, but not the same
group on a regular basis.
The Westside Forum offers breadth and diversity in our selection of programs.
It does not endorse political candidates or political parties. Where there is dissen-
tion we encourage the courteous discussion of different points of view.
The Westside Forum is a Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation function.
There is no charge for admission; voluntary donations are accepted.
